Arrival Belgium & London visit

Hi all,

This blog is about our arrival and stay at our 3rd exchange address ; Brieleke 15 Wommelgem , Belgium. Wommelgem lies approx. 10 min. drive east of Antwerp. I have attached to this blog our visit to London as well. We spent 2 days in London, for a short visit as well as saying good bye to Richard who left from Heathrow Airport.

As you can see, the house is surrounded by trees. They are slowly turning into autumn colors!

As you can see, we have an enormous long back garden.

A beautiful little spot to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

True supporters of the national color orange, after The House of Orange, our royal family. The shirts are also worn by the national soccer team and the no 9 is significant. It was the number which Percie used before he went to Manchester United. And what about the clogs........ ! They are cosy to wear though!

Hanneke arrived the day before.Enjoying a lovely dinner outside. ( 7th of Sept.)

The station is huge, with lots of shops and levels where various trains depart and arrive.

Our train to Brussels , where we departed from to fly to Istanbul and also to catch the Euro rail to London.

We also had to visit Harrods of course.......! And went to Covent Garden and the usual sightseeing "musts", as many as we could fit in in a day really, but Richard took most of those photos and of course took them with him back to Perth!!!!

So that's it for this blog. One more to follow of our visit to Istanbul.
